Issie with the launcher

"Just purchased the game today, Oct. 19th 2016, and I am getting an error while trying to install the game. I would like some help with this issue, please."

I wanted to add that I uses Windows 10 64bit, I have 8gb of RAM and a Intel i7 Quad Core CPU and a GeForce GTX 760. I have looked for a folder for the game to provide some logs but it does not seem to even get to the point of folder creation before I get that error.

I would be happy to try the install on Steam if you want to get me a code I can enter and try it that way.

This error message is shown, when there is an issue with starting the installation subsystem. This usually happens, when something is interfering with proper execution of the launcher (such as antivirus software).

In order for us to get more information, what might be causing this problem for you, you should upload launcher log file. These files are created in system temporary directory (accessible via putting %TEMP% in File Explorer address bar), within subdirectory called GameLauncher. They are not readable in text editor, so it's pointless to try doing so.
